Through data gathering and analysis, you will boost the effectiveness of supply chain operations. This position requires a background in pricing analysis with proven accomplishments with cross-functional teamwork, As such, we are seeking someone who will be responsible for analyzing cost / price data to determine price reasonableness, validate charges on our carrier invoices versus the original purchase order, and match them to the appropriate general ledger code.

This is a support role, responsible for the Freight Audit and Payment process.

As such, the ideal candidate will be experienced in Microsoft Excel as well as quick to learn software applications as needed, such as SAP Concur to process payments.

Here are some of the roles, responsibilities, and daily duties :

• Fully responsible for the Freight Audit and Payment process, ensuring on-time freight transportation payment to our transportation suppliers as per the contracted pay terms
• Ensure proposed freight charges from the carrier are valid and accurate, coding the invoices into our payment system to route freight charges back to the appropriate program
• Ability to prioritize, schedule, organize, focus on, and complete work
• Work with buyers to collect information about vendors, goods, and services
• Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes
• Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with vendors while promoting the company
• Collaborating with internal subject matter experts to address issues and assist with implementations
• Performs other duties assigned
